So, I got a MacBook for doing some web development testing in OSX. It came with this app called "Photo Booth", which I found useful today for getting evidence of what I have to deal with while trying to work. Freckles has recently decided that he needs to constantly be wrapped around my neck when I am here, whether I am sitting here working or walking into the kitchen... he is there.

| Photo Story: Fourth of July |

It was laundry day and it seems it was also the Fourth of July. Anthony and I didn't even realize it until he tried to go to work. If I had my cell phone on me and the batteries were not dead, Google Calendar would have also let me know, but alas my cell was in some random place and dead as usual. As I mentioned before, it was laundry day and sometimes I look very special on laundry day, especially when I haven't done laundry in a long time. So I figured since I already looked pretty silly, I should put on this strange head garment I found and humiliate myself by producing photographic evidence. I think the ear warmer thingy came from a giant Überraschungsei or something...
Notes: I have had this shirt since elementary school. I imagine it wasn't as short back then. The back features a picture of Mickey's Back and says "Mickey's Back!". It is pretty cheesy. The boxers with penguins on them were given to my ex and then stolen back. Yay, penguins!

| Thanksgiving for Freckles |

I decided that even though I had to work on Thanksgiving, I should at make something festive to eat. And listen to "Indians" by King Missile of course! ;D Freckles tried all of the following: stuffing, mashed potatoes with roasted garlic, cranberry sauce, green beans, wine from a soda bottle cap, cool whip, and green beans dipped in cool whip. His favourites seemed to be green beans and cool whip ;P |

| Backdated entry #1: Pontiac Gym & Haircut |

On Wednesday the 30th I checked out the climbing gym in Pontiac. Some things were a little harder then the one in Ann Arbor. I was one move away from finishing two bouldering problems.

Thursday I cut off all my hair before we left for some climbing at Red River Gorge in Kentucky!
Even freckles wanted to go! ;D

I am sitting here, working on one of my papers (as I have been for days), and freckles has been happily purring in my lap for over an hour now. I am not sure how one can be so happy, when they are partially under my keyboard, but... OK. Had to take a picture.

Freckles has developed a rather interesting straw fetish. He likes to grab them out of our drinks, whether or not we are currently using the straw. He also now plays fetch with straws. In the second picture, you can see him trying to get some ice cubes out of Devon's glass. At one point, he had a pretty good portion of his body inside the glass ;P I find myself shouting "Freckles Macavity!" a lot these days ;P

I awoke this morning to little kitten kisses on my nose and lotsa kitten cuddles ;P I know he was a good boy during the night too, because I noticed several times throughout the nite that he was lying between my BF and me. He followed me around while I got ready this morning. He even hopped into the shower with me ;P Shook his head a couple times when a drop of water landed on him ;P One interesting thing I have noticed about him so far is this funky litter dance he does. It is absolutely hilarious. Aww... He just hopped into my lap and is rolling around, being cute and purring ;P

We picked out our new kitty today. Yay! I went in determined to get a female. But I ended up falling for two males. My BF would only let me have one tho *pout* I would have taken them all if I could. There were a couple really sweet cats there too. I can see myself as a littly old lady with a house full of cats. Yup. Definately.
Here is our new kitty. We are going to pick him up Monday evening. :)
